Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar LawUniversity (TNDALU) conducts an admission process foradmission to its 5 year B.A.B.L course.  The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University was established by the Government of Tamil Nadu by an Act of State Legislature in 1997. There are 6 colleges under TNDALU in whichadmission is through the thisadmission process. Cadndidates are selected on the basis of their performance in class 12th exams.
The university is situated in Chennai though other than Chennai it has affiliatedGovernment Law colleges in 5 other cities. A large number of candidates from across Tamil Nadu appear for the entrance exam for getting admission in these colleges. There are over 1000 seats in all these colleges for BABL course.
